D+D Group – Design & Development
D+D GROUP was founded in 2009 when ARCHITECTS Anna Faccioli and Tommaso Zanini joined together.
The “D” letters in the name stand for DESIGN and DEVELOPMENT,
terms which define the identity of the architectural firm.
EXPERIENCE gained through years of practice allows us to embrace projects at all stages of design,
from CONCEPT to SITE MANAGEMENT,
applying an environmentally SUSTAINABLE WAY aimed at reducing the environmental impact.
FOUNDING MEMBERS
ANNA FACCIOLI
PARTNER ARCHITECT AND FOUNDING MEMBER
Anna Faccioli was born in 1971 and graduated from the University of Architecture in Florence in 1997.
Her professional activity began through collaborations with various studios in Bologna specializing in Interior Design, Furnishings, Corporate Identity, and Temporary Structures/Installations.
From 2000 to 2009 she developed and consolidated her professional experience as Project Manager and Interior Designer within the Nike company, developing its Retail Store chain throughout Italy.
In 2009, she founded the d+d group Studio specializing in design and project management of stores for international brands, across Italy and Europe.
She is also involved with interior design in the residential project, deepening the functional themes of living space.
TOMMASO ZANINI
PARTNER ARCHITECT AND FOUNDING MEMBER
Tommaso Zanini was born in 1973 and graduated from the University of Architecture in Ferrara in 2002.
During his undergraduate years he worked with various studios gaining experience in Architectural Design, and Site Direction activities.
Since 2004 he has worked as a freelance architect in the residential, historical monument and interior design.
From 2005 to 2009 he worked with the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Florence as adjunct professor in the Department of Architectural Design.
In 2009, he founded the d+d group Studio specializing in concept design and construction management of stores for international brands, across Italy and Europe.
He is also involved with residential design to create new shapes of living space.
